Humane Heroes Camp is a week-long adventure dedicated to teaching young kids (ages 6-10) basic skills and information related to owned, stray, and shelter pets. Our 2025 camp will be held exclusively at our shelter campus location at 1030 Mitchell Bridge Rd., where our summer camp staff and special guest speakers will educate and engage campers. Topics include an introduction to animal wellness and health, basic animal handling skills, observing pet behaviors, and attributes of excellent pet owners.

Drop off each day is at 8:30am and pick up is at 3:00pm.

Junior Vet Camp introduces curious learners ages 11-14 to veterinary/shelter medicine concepts and themes. Workshops and educational programs are hosted by statewide subject matter experts and thought leaders to discuss topics related to animal behavior, husbandry, STEM preparation, and preparation for a career in animal-centered professions. Our 2025 camp will be held exclusively at our shelter campus location at 1030 Mitchell Bridge Rd., where special guest speakers will educate and engage campers. Additional topics include interactive introductions to animal anatomy and 3D modeling, diagnostics, surgery, and animal behavior.

Drop off each day is at 8:30 am and pick up is at 3:00 pm.
