The Red & Black — “The Athens Area Humane Society hosted its ninth annual Kitten Shower on Sunday, May 4 from 2 to 4 p.m. The AAHS puts on this event in the midst of kitten season to fundraise, educate and have as many kittens adopted as possible.
Attendees celebrated in true “May the 4th” fashion: the AAHS created a “Star Wars” theme for the event, and many of the adoptable kittens were named after “Star Wars” characters.”[…]
