Paws and Pinot
Sip for a cause!
Sip for a cause at ‘Paws and Pinot‘! Join the Athens Area Humane Society for a wine-tasting night on September 11th, 6:00-8:00 PM, at our 1030 Mitchell Bridge Rd campus to support rescue pets. Swirl, sniff, and support — every pour helps save more!
Enjoy food, a silent auction, furry friends, and sips from Rescue Dog Wines.
Pets With Santa
Here comes Santa Paws
Memorialize your paw-liday season with a photo of your pet with Santa! Santa will be at the Athens Area Humane Society, located at 1030 Mitchell Bridge Road, during select weekends in November and December. Your furry family members (and even human ones!) will enjoy taking photos with Santa, and your support helps save lives at the Athens Area Humane Society.

Annual Kitten Shower
Our annual Kitten Shower is an occasion to celebrate! This signature event will be entering its 11th year this coming spring 2027. The Kitten Shower brings together cat lovers from all across Athens for a brunch buffet featuring local eats and beverages, plus a raffle, vendors, live music, games, and — of course — adoptable kittens!
