One of the biggest barriers to pet ownership is the cost of initial and ongoing veterinary care. In addition to ensuring all of our adopted pets have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, we also offer affordable veterinary services to the public. Explore our vet services below.
Spay/neuter is mandated for rescues by Georgia state law. We also offer affordable spay/neuter services to the public as part of our goal to reduce overall the number of homeless pets in our community.
All pets must have an appointment. You may schedule your appointment online. Please bring dogs on a leash, cats in a carrier, and community cats in a humane trap.
If your pet is 7 years or older, please call and speak with a member of our medical team prior to scheduling an appointment.
Telephone calls, emails, and online appointment requests are answered during our operating hours Monday-Thursday from 9:00 am-4:30 pm.

Pricing
Our spay/neuter pricing includes spay/neuter, intra-operative, and post operative pain medication. A non-refundable deposit is required to book an appointment which will be credited to the cost of surgery.
*Additional fees may apply for overweight, in-heat, cryptorchid, and other conditions outside of routine surgery.
**Community cats must arrive in humane trap.

AAHS offers affordable routine veterinary services and diagnostics in addition to vaccines, nail trims, and affordable flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
Please bring your dogs on a leash and cats in a carrier. All pets must have an appointment. You may schedule your appointment online.

All patients must have a current exam with us within 12 months or will need an exam at the time of their appointment. A routine wellness exam is $35.
